Sponsorship Opportunities 

Expanding Borders’ first project was its ladies’ ministry, which was initiated in 2010.  Today, this ministry includes a variety of activities.  Every week the women from four different communities meet in their towns to worship together.  After meditating on the word of God in this devotional service, the women discuss new projects and learn new techniques for creating and improving their beautiful handicrafts.

Women also meet with the founder Hemi in their souvenir shop, working with different stones to create some of the beautiful jewelry, crosses and accessories that are sold there.  In their homes women also work on their jewelry and crafts which are sold either in the local souvenir shop or taken to the United States to be sold at fair prices, of which the women receive of the profits.

Future Projects

As Expanding Borders continues to grow into the future, there are hopes to build a health center for local women who often neglect themselves to attend to their children’s needs.
